Founder Story
Hello there,
My name is Alexander “Alex” Herman. I grew up in Northern California during a unique period in recent history: the years when personal computing, smartphones, and the internet were becoming part of everyday life. I experienced firsthand how quickly technology changed the way we work, communicate, manage money, purchase goods, store information, socialize, and consume content.
That rapid innovation created incredible opportunity, but it also introduced serious risks. One of the experiences that shaped my perspective most was seeing my relative, who was suffering from a degenerative neurological condition, maliciously targeted by a scammer pretending to be another relative. Although they eventually put two and two together, avoiding the trap, the incident left them confused and paranoid. This event showed me how important it is to educated vulnerable individuals on how they can defend themselves in a technological world that is impossible to fully understand.
My background combines business, technology, and cybersecurity. I earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas Christian University in 2022, double majoring in Business Information Systems and Organizational Management, and later earned a Master of Science in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from Western Governors University. I currently work as an IT Business Analyst for a large sports and entertainment enterprise, helping connect business needs with practical technology solutions.
I founded this company because I believe technology should serve people; not overwhelm, confuse, or exploit them. My goal is to provide practical guidance that helps individuals and small businesses better understand the tools they rely on, make smarter decisions, and use technology in ways that support their lives, work, and long-term goals.
